Doctoral contract

The doctoral contract constitutes the main form of support likely to be awarded to students preparing for a PhD. Created by the decree of April 23, 2009, the doctoral contract is offered to doctoral students, lasting three years, providing all the social guarantees of an employment contract compliant with public law.

The doctoral contract sets a minimum remuneration, indexed to the evolution of civil service remuneration: since July 1, 2010, it amounts to 1684.93 euros gross monthly for research activity alone and 2024.70 euros gross monthly. in the case of additional activities.

Deadlines / Procedure :

  • Submission of applications no later than June 20th, 2024 at 12 p.m. to ali.brador@u-paris.fr
  • Selection of applications on June 26th, 2024 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Audition of the selected applications on July 3rd, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Thesis project (by filling out this template)

Evaluated according to the following criteria:

  • Relevance of the project with respect to the themes of the CRPMS laboratory, the student’s previous work and, possibly, its clinical integration
  • Originality of the project: we will essentially assess the candidate’s ability to argument about his topic’s originality.
  • Interdisciplinarity of the project: it is particularly important given the scientific options of the Doctoral School.

The thesis project must be presented according to the model attached to the call for applications.

  • A Curriculum Vitae
  • A cover letter
  • A letter of support from the future thesis director, justifying the inclusion of the project in the laboratory
  • The Master transcript (Research and/or Professional) if available
  • The Master thesis (Research and/or Professional) and possible publications or communication at conferences
  • Optional: any academic recommendation letter
