Joint thesis supervision

Joint thesis supervision is a system that promotes the mobility of doctoral students by developing scientific cooperation between French and foreign research teams.

The joint supervision student carries out his work under the supervision of a thesis director in each of the two countries concerned. The two thesis directors undertake to fully exercise the function of tutor to the doctoral student; their skills are therefore exercised jointly. The doctoral student must carry out his research in the two co-supervisory countries according to the terms established by an agreement.
